Everything an announcement page needs

A page for your updates — announcements, release notes, opening hours, event dates. Here’s what you get, in detail.

Your own announcement page

Every account gets a page at your-name.thelatest.page. It’s server-rendered, so it opens fast and search engines and screen readers can read it properly. Pin the announcements that matter and they stay at the top.

The editor handles headings, bold, italic, lists, links, images, dividers and call-to-action buttons. It saves as you type, so there’s no “save” button to forget.

RSS feed, generated automatically

Every page comes with an RSS feed at /feed.xml. Regulars can follow you in their feed reader, and other tools can pick up your updates without you doing anything.

QR code you can print

Download a QR code for your page and put it on a shop counter, a flyer, a poster or a business card. It points to a page you can update afterwards — the printed code never goes stale.

SEO and social previews built in

Each page and each post ships with a canonical URL, Open Graph and Twitter card tags, structured data and a sitemap. Paste a link anywhere and it shows a proper preview. You can also switch your whole page to “noindex” if you’d rather stay out of search results.

Pages are cached at the edge and contain no JavaScript at all — a big part of why they load so fast.

Themes and layouts

6 presets, 3 layouts and light, dark or automatic. Pro adds your own accent colour. Change the look and the live preview updates immediately — no publishing step, no CSS.

Scheduled publishing and expiry dates

Write on Friday, publish on Monday at 10am. Set an expiry and the post comes off your page on its own — useful for temporary closures, limited runs and seasonal offers.

Public JSON API

Your published posts are available as JSON at /api/v1/projects/{slug}/posts. Pull them into your own site, a widget or anything else you build.

No trackers on your page

Published pages set no cookies and run no scripts. There’s no analytics tag and no third-party embed, so nobody who visits your page is tracked or profiled.

Free and Pro

The free plan gives you one page, the latest 20 announcements and 100MB of image storage. Pro is $8 a month and raises that to 5 pages, 200 announcements, 2GB of storage, every theme with your own accent colour, and no badge on your page.

Coming from a link-in-bio page?

A link-in-bio page collects your links; this collects your updates. The two work well side by side. How The Latest compares to Linktree →
